The following GAIN reports were released on June 23, 2026. _______     Costa Rica: FAIRS Country Report Annual This report outlines the regulatory requirements and import procedures for food and agricultural products entering Costa Rica. The report includes updates on Costa Rica's implementation of the Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) on, "Registration and Sanitary Inscription of Food Products," and information on changes to the food additives regulation.   Mexico: Grain and Feed Update Mexico’s corn production is forecast to decline in marketing year 2026/2027 as higher input costs and low domestic prices weigh on planting decisions. Corn, wheat, and rice imports are expected to increase as domestic output remains insufficient to meet growing demand, whereas sorghum imports are expected to fall on higher domestic production. The United States is expected to remain the main source of Mexican grain and feed imports. South Africa: FAIRS Export Certificate Report Annual This report has been updated to reflect current export requirements for South Africa. The Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) Certificate Report provides a comprehensive list of principal certificates required for exporting plants, animals, and animal products to South Africa.
