The city of Cleveland and the Haslam Sports Group traded verbal blows this week over plans to build a domed Cleveland Browns stadium in Brook Park.

Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb called the proposal a "scheme," arguing that funding for the stadium would raise taxes, make games more expensive, and "steal events away" from Cleveland.

Bibb's remarks came in response to a Browns press release that accused the city of "misguiding" fans by likening the potential move to Brook Park to Art Modell's relocation of the franchise to Baltimore in 1996.

In addition to the press release, the Browns released a letter to fans and a video rendering of the proposed enclosed stadium. You can watch the video here.

Residents voiced frustrations over travel disruptions caused by the construction.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton launched its Celebrating Aviation film series on Wednesday with a screening of Heroes on Deck, a documentary about efforts to recover World War II aircraft from Lake Michigan.

During the war, the U.S. Navy used Lake Michigan to train aviators on carrier landings.

More than 100 aircraft were lost in training accidents, sinking to the lakebed. The film highlights modern recovery efforts to preserve the rare fighter planes.

The museum's film series continues on March 27 with a documentary on Project Recover, an organization dedicated to bringing home the remains of more than 80,000 Americans missing in action since WWII.
