Gov. Glenn Youngkin has signed 180 pieces of legislation and announced that he plans to sign or veto hundreds more bills ahead of Monday's deadline.

"My filter here is really focused on bills that are good for Virginia business," Youngkin said. "There is a substantial amount of bipartisan legislation that moves us forward."

State legislators passed almost 1,000 measures during their 2025 session, some of which are identical to proposals Youngkin has vetoed in the past. The governor can sign a bill, veto it, allow it to become law without his signature, or send an edited version back for further consideration.

Among the measures signed were bills to expand Virginia's Business Ready Sites Program and to designate fusion as a clean energy source.

Virginia Beach police detained two students from Bayside High School after receiving reports on Wednesday about a potential threat.

Police said a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were charged with possession of a weapon on school property.

The school was locked down and searched by police after a report that there may have been a gun on campus, but no firearms were found.

Some parents complained that the school was too slow in informing them of developments during the lockdown.

If you're looking to get out into nature now that it's spring, plenty of gardens are available to visit across the Commonwealth.

Southern Living compiled a list of its top eight gardens in Virginia. The smallest is the Anne Spencer House & Garden Museum in Lynchburg. Further west, the magazine recommends seeing the native species growing at the Mill Mountain Wildflower Garden in Roanoke.

The story also highlights Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria in Northern Virginia, and suggests that those in Hampton Roads should check out the 175-acre Norfolk Botanical Garden.

Central Virginia is blessed with two top gardens: Maymont, a 100-acre property, and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, where fresh bulbs are planted each year.

Did you know that collagen deficiency strikes nearly everyone over the age of 30?

This is because after you turn 30, you start losing 1% of collagen per year.

Which is a bad thing.

You see, collagen is the "glue" that holds your body together. And without enough collagen your body literally starts falling apart (FAST!).

Some of the warning signs are a droopy neck, brittle nails, dry flaky hair, and deep lines around your mouth and eyes.

When people start noticing these signs, they often turn to expensive collagen powders for help.

Only problem? They're INCOMPLETE, and therefore useless.
