I'm not sure how I feel about all the "new-year-new-me" stuff. I'm the same me. Still not drinking enough water. But I do love a good makeover. So I spent the last couple months giving my popular ALDI Meal Plan for Fall & Winter a refresh for the new year. The meal plan includes four weeks of cozy, seasonal dinner recipes, and I replaced six of them with recipes I like even better like: - Tortellini with Creamy Lemon Sauce
- Slow Cooker Whole Chicken
- Biscuit Pot Pie
- Sheet Pan Teriyaki Salmon
Nothing fussy, fancy, or overly complicated. They're simple, practical recipes that are easy to prepare and made with familiar ingredients your family will actually eat. (And it goes without saying, but while the dinners are based around affordable ingredients at ALDI, you can get everything at other grocery stores too.) If you already have the original version, happy news: I'll be sending you the new-and-improved one too! Watch your inbox. If you don't have it yet, you can grab the meal plan for half-off because you're on this double-extra-special Real Mom VIP list. But just for the next three days. It goes back to the regular price Tuesday night, Jan 14. ⏰ Tap the button below to get it. Our Dinner Menu - Sunday: Shortcut Fish Tacos (holdover from last week) from my ALDI Spring/Summer Meal Plan
- Monday: Avgolemono Soup (Lemon Chicken Soup--we love this recipe!) + green salads
- Tuesday: Leftover soup + No Knead Bread
- Wednesday: Scrounge Nite
- Thursday: HelloFresh meal: One-Pan Santa Fe Pork Tacos with Monterey Jack & Cilantro Lime Slaw
- Friday: HelloFresh meal: Spice is Nice Turkey Couscous Bowls with Za'atar Roasted Veggies, Lemony Garlic Sauce & Almonds
- Saturday: Homemade Pizza + green salads

Yes, There Are Things to Love About Winter I'm not a believer yet, but I'm willing to try. I like these suggestions, such as finding "slow hobbies". On Wednesday I'm heading to Berlin, Germany for a nutrition conference. I've never been to Germany. I'm excited! If any of you happen to have recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Berlin, hit REPLY and let me know. Thanks so much for being in my little corner of the online world. I appreciate you so much. Best, Sally ps: Thank you to everyone who shared their goals or focus words with me! I especially I loved this word that Nicole B. picked for 2025: "CHOOSE. As in choose joy, choose to see and express the positive, choose to have fun, choose love." ❤️ ps: After living in our house for 18 years, we finally got the old gas fireplace working last year, and it's been one of the best things we've done.
