Rounds of arctic cold air will plunge through the eastern U.S. over the next week or so, dropping night temperatures in Florida to the 20s and 30s in much of the state.

A pair of high-pressure areas will force the jet stream to take a sharp dip, pulling cold air from Canada southward and temporarily locking it in place.

While record cold isn't expected in most areas, this colder pattern is forecast to linger through at least the middle of January.

Article Icon 1Trump Nominates Floridians as Ambassadors

President-elect Donald Trump announced that he intends to nominate Benjamin Leon Jr. as ambassador to Spain. Leon is the founder of Doral-based Leon Medical Centers.

In a Truth Social post, Trump described the businessman, who turned 80 in December, as "a highly successful entrepreneur, equestrian, and philanthropist."

Last week, Trump said he would nominate Miami-Dade County Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera as ambassador to Panama.

Trump suggested that his new administration could try to regain control of the Panama Canal, which the United States "foolishly" ceded to its Central American ally. The President-elect said that shippers are charged "ridiculous" fees to pass through the vital transportation channel.

Dry Tortugas National Park placed fourth on The Travel's list of "Seven Best National Parks to Visit in February." See the full list here.

Located nearly 70 miles west of Key West, Dry Tortugas National Park is mostly underwater except for Fort Jefferson, a 19th-century military structure. The park is cooler during winter, but proper gear makes snorkeling, scuba diving, and boat tours possible without the risk of hurricanes.

Big Bend National Park in Texas took the top spot, followed by Pinnacles National Park in California and Saguaro National Park in Arizona.

As we age, our bodies accumulate "senescent" or "zombie" cells—old, worn-out cells that no longer serve a useful function but still consume space and nutrients from healthy cells. These cells contribute to aging symptoms, such as aches, slower workout recovery, and reduced mental and physical energy.

Much like pruning dead leaves from a plant, Qualia Senolytic helps remove these cells, allowing the body's healthier cells to thrive. This clinically tested formula is designed to rejuvenate cellular health and revitalize aging tissues, offering a potential breakthrough in supporting longevity and overall well-being.
