Plumes of Saharan dust continue to move across Florida, lowering the air quality and producing what experts call “dirty rain.”

Dirty rain occurs when fine particles from dust storms, wildfires, or pollution get trapped in raindrops, resulting in a filmy residue on outdoor furniture, windows, cars, and other exposed surfaces.

Those with allergies and breathing ailments, such as asthma, may notice breathing issues until the dust clears the area on Wednesday.

The Florida bar exam is changing, according to the Board of Bar Examiners, who announced last week that the Florida Supreme Court approved its recommendation.

Starting in July 2028, Florida will be one of 20 jurisdictions adopting the NextGen bar exam, a test format created by the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

The Florida Board recommended adopting the NextGen Exam after a study of over 21,000 Florida lawyers to determine the skills and knowledge new Florida lawyers need to begin their practice.

The announcement was made four years in advance to help law schools properly prepare the Class of 2028.
