USDA Invites Input on Crop Insurance Coverage for Prevented Planting

The USDA is inviting agricultural producers to participate in a special virtual listening session on Thursday, June 8, 1:00 -3:00 CDT, to provide comments on the Prevented Planting Request for Information published in the Federal Register on May 23.  The event will give producers the opportunity to hear from members of the USDA's Risk Management Agency and directly comment on their needs and possible changes to prevented planting crop insurance coverage. There will also be more than a dozen in-person listening sessions in different regions from June through August. To learn more about the June 8 virtual event and to see if there is an in-person listening session coming to your area, visit RMA's prevented planting listening sessions webpage.
