| Today is World Teacher Day – an opportunity for everyone to celebrate you and the incredible work you do. Every hour, day, week, month you spend supporting your students provides them with the tools for future success, and you do it brilliantly. We asked some students in Birmingham what the world would be like without you there to support and guide them – watch what they said. This Teacher Bulletin includes a collection of updates and resources to support you in the coming weeks. Nominate your colleagues for a National Teaching Award Help us recognise and celebrate the outstanding work being done across early years, schools and FE colleges every day by nominating someone you work with for a National Teaching Award. The awards are free, there are 16 categories to choose from and there is a televised celebration of the winners on the BBC One Show at the end of it all. Access teaching and leadership support from DfE funded hubs DfE funds a variety of hubs to support schools and colleges to develop specific areas of teaching and leadership. A hub is a strong school or partnership of schools and other organisations that help other schools develop and improve their practice. We've created a diagram that gives you an overview of the support available and further links to find out how to access it. Reminder of the free period product scheme State schools and colleges can order a range of free period products for learners under the new spend cap at any point in the academic year, until July 2023.
