one thing you can check off your list early

Hi reader,

Have you ever said "I'll take care of that later," and then later came it was too late? 😳

I'm usually really good at planning… But I'm also NOTORIOUS for thinking I'll have time or a chance to do something later, and then end up rushing to the next important thing and missing out on whatever it was I wanted (or usually, needed) to do in the first place.

If this sounds familiar, you're in good company!! πŸ˜‚

That's part of the reason I'm emailing you today… can we talk turkey for a hot minute?

Here's the deal. I first saw turkeys at the grocery store in early October - more than a full month before Thanksgiving... they normally show up well after Halloween!!

But there's talk about shortages and there's definitely supply chain issues and while the holidays are still several weeks away, we're all having to get our butts in gear ASAP...

That includes your Thanksgiving (or Christmas) turkey!

If you haven't given much thought to your turkey yet, I have AMAZING news for you!

FREE TURKEY!

If you've been with me for some time, you know I'm a huge fan of Butcher Box. (You can read my reviews here, here, and here.) But I also know that their service isn't the right fit for every family.

I've branched out a little and tried a couple other meat delivery services. And they happen to have turkey specials right now!

Here's the rundown on all the sales that I have found at the moment:

Butcher Box

Always a favorite so I must mention they are offering a FREE turkey for new members!

  • Here are the details:
  • Free 10-14lb turkey in your first box
  • Sale runs through November 14, 2022 (or until supplies run out)
  • Free shipping with an easily adjustable schedule

Click here to join BUTCHER BOX and claim your FREE turkey.

Crowd Cow

I tested Crowd Cow a few months back and was VERY impressed with their meat. It was delicious! I plan to write up a review on my experience, but for now, you'll have to take my word on it!

They have a Turkey Pre-Sale going on now:

  • $40 off Pasture-Raised Turkey
  • Free oven mitt (for the first 500 orders only!)
  • Sale ends October 31st
  • Membership perks include 5% off recurring orders, free delivery on orders $125+, exclusive offers, member-only pricing. (The membership is free and your deliveries are easily adjustable.)

Click here to join CROWD COW and get $40 off your turkey plus a free oven mitt! (Ends soon!)

Wild Pastures

Wild Pastures is a sister company to my favorite meat stick brand, Paleo Valley. I've not tried their meat yet, but it is on my list! I wanted to share it here in case you want to look at another option.

They currently do not carry pastured turkey, but if you go the non-traditional route and want to do roasted chicken or even a beef roast for your holiday meal, this is a great option!

Here's their current offer:

  • 12% off your entire order + free shipping for life!
  • Skip or cancel your subscription at any time
  • All meat is sourced from small farms in the USA.

Ibotta

This is not a meat delivery service, but it does warrant some attention. Back again this year is Ibotta's FREE Thanksgiving dinner promotion. The best part of this cash back promotion is the free turkey. Most of the other items are canned or boxed. If that's not your preference, many local food banks and churches need shelf stable Thanksgiving foods this time of year! You can purchase the items listed and donate what you don't need.

Details on this promotion:

  • Get a $15 cash back rebate for a whole turkey!
  • This offer is for NEW Ibotta members, but current members can unlock the free turkey offer by referring a friend to join.
  • There may be limitations to which stores you can purchase at. (See full terms here.)

Click here to join my team on IBOTTA and get cash back on your Thanksgiving meal.

On a related note, if you haven't started watching the sales yet, this is the time to stock up on holiday meal ingredients and baking goods. Butter, eggs, and flour have gone up, but sales are around the corner! Keep an eye on it so you don't get caught off-guard.

Where do you usually get your Thanksgiving turkey?

ALL my best ♥,
