Last Week on Organize Yourself Skinny (October 3rd, 2021)

Hey there reader!

Welcome to the first week of October. Autumn is in full swing, and this means chilis and soups are on repeat. This turkey chili is one of my favorites, but this one is the best if you want a classic beef chili. The slow cooker chuck roast chili is perfect when you want a chunky beefy chili.

The beginning of the month also means thinking about goals. I'll share more about goals tomorrow in my weekly meal plan, exercise, and habit email, but here's a quick snapshot of what I plan to work on this month.

Toning and strength-training - While I still add some toning to my exercise routine, I'm not going to lie; I've got a little lazy over the last few months. Well, maybe not so much lazy as burnt out. But I took some time to organize for the fall and relax a little bit, so I feel much better going into October. Anyway, this month my focus is to do my entire toning routine four times a week and track it in my calendar. I follow the routines that I share in the Organize Yourself Skinny eBook & Workbook Bundle.

Eat more veggies at dinner time - Between smoothies and mason jar salads, I feel like I get a lot of fruits and veggies in, but I think I need more at dinner time. This month, the goal is to eat a recipe that includes veggies or add sides of veggies.

Time-block and master my mornings - The summer was such a struggle with time management in all areas of my life, no matter how hard I tried. In September, I worked to get back into a routine and schedule - which I've been doing pretty well. This month I want to work even harder to protect and manage my time. Like everyone else, I have a lot going on, and to get it all done without going insane, requires a plan and structure.

I'll give more specifics tomorrow. So, look for that email.
