All parents know that coming up with quick and nourishing meals that please everyone can be a challenge a LOT of the time. With the kids home for the summer, it can be even trickier to feed everyone for every meal (and snack) out of the day. This is why when I set out to create a new book, I wanted to make sure were plenty of delicious family recipes in Everyday Dinners. And, what makes me most excited is that you're all using this book to make memories with YOUR family!! I love knowing which recipes are a hit with the kids, which ones you make together and which ones remind you of home. Keep tagging the dishes you make using #howsweeteats!
This dish has been a clear favorite from Everyday Dinners! The fresh flavors and simple ingredients make this meal a staple in our house, too. Seriously, is there anything better than a lemon butter sauce?! A Max and Emilia favorite right here! These are delicious and fun to make with the kids, too! Get a little assembly line going, and feel free to customize based on what ingredients (and picky eaters) you have at home. I bet you didn't see this one coming! I am always trying to get more nutritious ingredients into the meals I serve my family. Plus, let's be real, I'm still wary of vegetables sometimes myself. This pasta is the answer. This might be my favorite way to use broccoli! This dish just manages to please everyone. It comes together quick and is SO versatile. It can be a lunch salad, a side dish, a topping... you name it. When everything is in season there isn't much better! Tuna packed in oil is one of my favorite things to use for simple, hearty weeknight meals that kids and grown ups love equally. There is so much flavor crammed into this pasta! But, it's still light enough for summer. Can't wait to see what Everyday Dinners recipes you whip up next! |
