Ok, I might need to apologize for this recipe, and that's because after one bite, you'll be hooked.
This is a recipe for Crack Cake. Have you heard of it?
Well, it's essentially a jazzed up boxed cake mix. But like on steroids.
It's yellow cake mix, instant vanilla pudding mix, sugar (yes we add more sugar), cinnamon, and get ready for it...WHITE WINE. All baked in a pretty little bundt pan.
Oh but we're not done. Once that tipsy little sweetheart comes out of the oven, we soak the whole thing in a buttery, sugar, wine syrup. Let it soak right in.
This cake is the most delicious cake I've ever eaten. It's perfectly moist, tender, light and fluffy, and surprisingly not too sweet! It's crazy easy to make and perfect for a potluck or party dessert!
I'll let you find this out for yourself. But just know you've been warned. And you're welcome.
P.S. don't worry about the wine...all the alcohol is cooked out, so it's safe for the youngsters!
