A50 | Derbyshire | Road Closure | Expect Delays The A50 is closed in both directions between the two A515 junctions near Sudbury.  A lorry has struck a post supporting power cables. As a result the road has been closed to make the cables safe.  Western Power are at the scene of this incident, carrying out repairs.  Traffic is diverted via local roads.  Delays are likely on the approach to this closure, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.
