Hi ,
It's the first day of Spring! I don't know about you, but I am more than ready for longer days and warmer weather.
But more than anything, I'm excited for spring produce. Some of my favorite fruits and vegetables come into season at this time of year:
- radishes,
- asparagus,
- strawberries,
- spinach,
- and tender, leafy herbs.
Enjoying this colorful produce is the perfect way to celebrate the new season.

bright Spring Salad
This refreshing salad showcases the season's best: tender asparagus, crisp radishes, peas, and fresh greens. An aromatic basil dressing ties it all together.

best Carrot Cake
We make this recipe every year for Jack's spring birthday. Super-moist and nicely spiced, the cake is wonderful on its own, but we like it best with cream cheese frosting on top.
