Helping Michigan's Children Our mission is to give children a nurturing environment where they are safe, supported, and can still be kids. When it is safe, children are reunited with their parents, but this process can take time. A loving foster family to help children cope during their separation can make all the difference. We need caring adults who can help by providing support to both children and their parents—working together to prioritize the child's long-term health and well-being. It can be hard work but providing stability and love for a child is a rewarding experience. There are many ways you can offer support. The first step is talking to a Foster Care Navigator today by calling 855-MICHKIDS (855-642-4543). Our Navigators all have personal experience as foster parents and can answer any questions you have—no strings attached. |
