Hey Friends! Hope you had a wonderful Easter Weekend! We’re settling back into regular routines over here after my kids have been off for Spring break.
I’ve been leaning into simple meals and a few everyday things that have been making life easier lately. I wanted to share what I’m loving right now and what we’re cooking this week.
I'm upping my Pancake Game! I got the cutest pancake tools, and they’ve made breakfast so much more fun. A batter dispenser that makes perfectly round pancakes every time (so satisfying!), and aglass syrup dispenser for my homemade syrup - such a simple upgrade that makes it feel extra special.
My Go-To Face Wash I’ve been using this Tula face cleanser for over a year now, and I’m still obsessed. It’s gentle and leaves my skin feeling super clean.
This Cropped Knit Cardigan I was 100% influenced to buy this cardigan from social media - but I’m so glad I was. It’s so cute and perfect for spring.
๐ฝ What I’m Cooking This Week
Chicken Shawarma BowlsEverything cooks in one pan, and it’s easy, filling, and a meal that my kids LOVE.
Bean & Cheese Burritos My ULTIMATE comfort food - so simple but really good. I make refried beans from a can of pinto beans, use a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack, and wrap everything in homemade flour tortillas. Should I share an official recipe? (I included a picture below of our crispy version)
We got to see their robotic milking system in action (which was fascinating- they track so much data on each cow and the milk quality). We watched a cow being milked, got to pet baby calves, and finished with homemade cheese from the farm.
Thanks for being here. I always appreciate you following along and trying these recipes with your families.
