I used to be stuck in a full-blown sugar addiction.
It’s where I continually tried to eat less sugar but would fall back into my old habits whenever I saw a sweet treat.
Over time, the "it's just one cookie" and "no one will notice if I eat another brownie" turned into an extra 30 pounds of pure fat.
I thought I was being a "good mom" by baking all these goodies, but in reality, I was depleting my energy.
Throughout the day, all I could think about was my next treat, because "hey, I deserved it!"
When everyone went to sleep, I'd find myself, face in the pantry, eating all the sugary goodies, trying to satisfy my never-ending sweet tooth.
