OpenAI and NVIDIA announced a letter of intent to build OpenAI's next generation of AI infrastructure with NVIDIA systems—to train and run their latest models on the path to deploying superintelligence. Key Details of the Announcement: OpenAI will build and deploy at least 10 gigawatts of AI data centers with NVIDIA systems representing millions of GPUs. The project will span multiple generations of GPUs, expanding beyond OpenAI's already announced CSP deployments, which are accelerated by NVIDIA.  OpenAI will work with NVIDIA as a preferred strategic compute and networking partner for their AI factory growth plans.   NVIDIA intends to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI progressively as each gigawatt is deployed.
