When you think of Lebanese food, what are the top recipes that come to mind? For me, it's a list that is comprised of my own favorites: Hummus that's smooth 'n creamy, Fattoush Salad, Kibbeh of any kind but especially raw or baked, labneh, olives, fatayer, and bread. Mouthwatering, no?!
I'm not waiting until the new year to get my goals on: in the kitchen, I want to make more kibbeh. Baked kibbeh is one of Dan's favorites, we love it homemade, and the aroma of that assembly baking in the oven will cure what ails you. So this week's menu puts a baked kibbeh at on our minds, with Fattoush. What a meal!
I'm excited about my latest post on Instagram, about why I included homemade phyllo in my new cookbook. Check it out!! There's a story to this, of course. And I've heard from so many of you that I'll see you on the road in the coming weeks to celebrate my book and sign yours. Can't wait to see you. There's lots to check out withLebanese Baking Book Tour events lined up.
