(clockwise) Me feeling happy with fall weather, kitchen progress, my two best fall walking buddies, and the miso peanut ramen bowls,
Some good things about October:
IDEAL WEATHER - here in MN it's ideal jeans and sweatshirts weather, and it's glorious
Fall colors! They're already starting!
Our kitchen remodel will be finishing up!
As we head into October - these are the five recipes I'd make sure not to miss. They're cozy enough for chilly nights, bright enough to fight the shorter and shorter days, and they just feel like peak October to me. ❤️
Nothing says October more to me than a thick layer of creamy mashed potatoes on top of saucy veggies sizzled up with red wine. Already can't wait to get this on my menu this week.
A new one, and I still can't stop thinking about it! It's the perfect combo of creamy and comforting, but fresh and punchy, too. A sweet and savory broth ladled into bowls with noodles, crispy crumbled tofu, and fresh veg.
Someone on our team made these with her kids last weekend, and she reported back that they absolutely gobbled them up. In her words: "These are just so good and easy and healthy and one of my favorite fall recipes!"
Browned butter, puddles of melty chocolate, and a generous sprinkle of flaky salt on top... this is October for me. A batch of these, a comfy blanket, and a favorite show on TV and I am set and happy.
