NewsGuard won’t stop attacking PragerU—here’s why

Big Tech fact-checkers are after PragerU again!

NewsGuard, one of Big Tech’s self-declared and left-wing funded “fact-checkers,” is targeting PragerU—again!

After years of smearing our reputation, falsely accusing our videos of advancing “inaccurate, misleading, and unsubstantiated claims,” pressuring tech platforms to cancel us, and costing us hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of dollars, NewsGuard refuses to leave us alone.

They recently reached out AGAIN to inform us they are “updating” their rating of PragerU (currently a low score of 57 points out of 100).

Expose NewsGuard

This is the same NewsGuard that claims to fight misinformation but avoids transparency themselves. We believe the American public deserves answers.

That’s why I responded to NewsGuard by inviting co-CEOs Steven Brill and Gordon Crovitz to sit down with me for a recorded and transparent interview. Despite offering multiple times to respectfully ask and answer each other’s questions, NewsGuard’s CEOs have failed to accept my invitation.

Like many other things in America, it’s time to expose the Truth. NewsGuard has been intimidating conservative media companies, attempting to control information. We will not allow them to intimidate us with their baseless ratings.

Even Mark Zuckerberg (whether you trust him or not) has acknowledged the bias of so-called “fact-checkers,” and Meta plans to phase them out. Meanwhile, Steven Brill told NPR that the idea they should ease up on fact-checking is “just plain ridiculous” and accuses Zuckerberg of “living in an alternate universe.”

PragerU sounded the alarm about NewsGuard long ago—and they are finally starting to be exposed! But now is not the time to take our foot off the gas. We must continue to apply pressure and reveal their blatant censorship and intimidation tactics. That is why we need your help!

Despite NewsGuard’s continued threats, PragerU has been sounding the alarm about their suppression of free speech for years. Now EVERYONE is talking about NewsGuard’s nefarious agenda.

Here are just a few highlights:

Mike Benz, a former State Department official, accused NewsGuard of blacklisting media outlets, censoring what students can learn in K-12 schools.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) launched an official congressional investigation into NewsGuard.
Media outlets from The Daily Wire to The Federalist and Newsmax have reported on NewsGuard’s censorship and intimidation tactics.
The “Twitter Files” (internal Twitter documents leaked by Elon Musk to a few journalists) confirm what PragerU has been saying all along—Big Tech has colluded with Big Government via fact-checkers like NewsGuard.
Congressional hearings were held by the “House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government” on this matter.
Journalists Michael Shellenberger (who starred in several PragerU videos) and Matt Taibbi testified in these hearings and have been relentlessly attacked for exposing this collusion—our own government has interrogated and threatened journalists who are simply telling the truth!
State of Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis has been warning businesses about NewsGuard's nefarious tactics!
Word has been spreading like wildfire online...millions now know that our government has not allowed dissent and used taxpayer dollars (Biden’s Department of Defense paid NewsGuard $750K in 2021) to censor the American people!

PragerU has pulled back the curtain. We've opened millions of eyes to these cold hard facts: Our own government was pressuring—and paying—Big Tech to use "fact-checkers" like NewsGuard to slap a “misinformation” label on anything they disagree with and “redirect” people to powerful elite-approved websites to be reeducated with the “correct” information.

We will not let NewsGuard and their cronies get away with this. We’re not going to let them suppress free speech, conceal information, and control what you can and cannot see, all while keeping you completely in the dark.

There might be severe consequences for us for pushing against NewsGuard. But if we don’t do it, who will?

Third-party fact-checkers and their “partners” have a lot of money and power. But we have you! Times are changing for the better in America, but to keep this momentum going, we must strike while the iron is hot.
