As someone who gets giddy at the advent of the holiday season, you can imagine that I also get kind of sad when it's all over. I actually find myself reflecting on my internal holiday checklist, and if there's any tradition I forgot to do.* One of which is having eaten some Bibingka and Puto Bumbong at least once during the Yuletide season.
I would go as far as to say that I even have this flash of anxiety along with thoughts like, "Where do I get bibingka and puto bumbong the rest of the year when the craving strikes???" But then again, there are mall kiosks that have now made it easy for locals and balikbayans alike to get their fix in a flash. So let me just add another option I found to that growing list, because this restaurant in Araneta City also offers an all-you-can-eat mirienda buffet at only PHP 175 per person that includes Filipino snack favorites like kakanin (rice cakes), noodle soups, and lumpia.
*If you're wondering when the season properly ends for me, it's after the Lunar New Year, by the way.
