In 2024, Colorado residents' home-buying preferences aligned closely with national trends, according to Zillow.

Ranch-style homes topped the list of most-searched features, alongside popular amenities such as garages, yards, pools, and lofts.

Some buyers in the state, however, pursued more unconventional dreams. One particularly unusual search included a request for a home with a roller coaster.

Additionally, Colorado joined 22 other states where at least one buyer expressed interest in finding a "haunted" house.
