The Office of Congressional Ethics has announced plans to further investigate allegations that Republican Rep. Andy Ogles may have misrepresented or omitted information in his financial disclosures.

The inquiry centers on allegations that Ogles' campaign committee, "Andy Ogles for Congress," may have received excessive contributions misreported as personal loans and candidate contributions, potentially sourced from funds other than his own.

Ogles acknowledged that his campaign's initial financial filings contained errors, claiming the concerns were previously reported and have already been addressed.

A Tennessee native, Ogles has represented District 5 since 2023. He resides on a farm south of Columbia, and his district encompasses Lewis, Maury, and Marshall counties, along with portions of Davidson, Williamson, and Wilson counties.
