A federal judge temporarily blocked the release of special counsel Jack Smith's report on investigations into President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon granted an emergency request from Trump's lawyers, who argued the document would be one-sided and prejudicial. The order blocks the release of the report until three days after an appeals court resolves the extent of her jurisdiction in the dispute.
