➡️ My Secret Tips For Ground Turkey Recipes That Don’t Suck!

Hey there reader!

Are you a fan of ground turkey, but find it hard to make delicious recipes? Well, you're in luck because I'm here to share my secret tips on how to make ground turkey recipes that don't suck!

First off, ground turkey is an amazing protein to cook with because it's low in fat and calories while being high in protein. Plus, you can easily swap it for ground beef in almost any recipe.

As someone who has been cooking with ground turkey for years, I've become an expert at making flavorful and juicy ground turkey recipes that even my husband and kids love.

If you want to try out some of my ground turkey recipes, you can find them all below.

But in this email, I want to focus on my secret cooking tips that will take your ground turkey recipes to the next level.

🦃 Start with high-quality ground turkey. Look for organic options with a thicker grind for easier handling.

🧊 Drain any liquid from the ground turkey package to prevent mushiness.

❄️ Before cooking frozen ground turkey, make sure to thaw it completely. Otherwise, the meat will become watery and won't absorb flavors as well.

🍞 If making turkey meatballs or meatloaf, include a panade - a mixture of milk and bread (gluten-free bread works too). This prevents the meat from drying out, a common issue with lean ground turkey. Use 2-3 tablespoons of milk and one slice of bread per pound of ground turkey. You can also use ½ cup of regular or panko breadcrumbs.

🧂 Seasoning is essential for flavorful ground turkey. It can be pretty bland on its own, but adding the right spices can transform it into a delicious meal. A blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder works well.

😋 A game-changing tip for adding flavor to ground turkey is Worcestershire or tamari sauce. I recently discovered tamari and prefer it over Worcestershire since going gluten-free creates incredible flavor.

🔥 Don't overcook your ground turkey recipes; it can dry out quickly, so keep an eye on it while cooking. A meat thermometer can also be helpful to ensure it's cooked perfectly.

And there you have it, my secret tips for making ground turkey recipes that don't suck! These tips also work for ground chicken recipes. Give them a try, and let me know how they turn out.
