Florida driver's license and identification card numbers will change starting July 31 for those renewing or replacing their cards. IDs will include four randomly generated numbers.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles says the numbers are changing to comply with legislation that requires random numbers be added to enhance security and guard against fraud.

While the license or identification card format will remain the same, a different formula utilizing randomization will now determine the number assigned to a customer.

A Florida judge ruled in favor of Former President Donald Trump on Saturday by allowing his libel lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize Board to continue despite motions to dismiss.

The decision, issued by Senior Judge Robert Pegg of the state’s Nineteenth Circuit ensures that Trump’s case will proceed to the discovery phase.

The lawsuit centers on a statement made by the Pulitzer Prize Board in 2022 defending its awards for national reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and alleged connections between Russia and the Trump campaign.

Article Icon 1List: Best and Worst U.S. School Systems

Florida ranks 11th overall and 8th for safety on a new list released Monday that ranks public schools in the U.S. based on performance, funding, safety, class size, and instructor credentials.

Wallethub’s 2024 Best and Worst School Systems in the U.S. list named Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maryland as the best states and Arizona, Oklahoma, and New Mexico as the worst. See the full list here.

Earlier this summer, U.S. News ranked Florida as the best education state for the second year. The rankings differ because Wallethub gave the Sunshine State low marks for SAT scores and teacher-to-pupil ratios.

The Great "Magnesium Conspiracy"

Could magnesium deficiency be one of the greatest health conspiracies in history?

Let's be clear: magnesium is THE single most studied mineral in existence, powering over 300 critical, life-saving reactions in your body. Thousands of studies have shown its benefits for the heart, energy, metabolism, immunity, sleep, pain, and more. Renowned experts, including two-time Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling and top MDs from Harvard, recommended daily magnesium supplementation.

But there's a problem. Modern agriculture has stripped our soil and diet of magnesium, leaving up to 80% of the population deficient. The food and supplement industries have fed us "magnesium," which doesn't solve the problem because it's synthetic and low-grade, making it hard for our bodies to absorb. Plus, most products only contain 1-3 forms of magnesium, while our bodies need all 7 forms.

Given how essential magnesium is for stress, sleep, heart health, and energy, this deficiency is a critical issue.

The Good News: When your body gets all the magnesium it needs in all the necessary forms and dosages, the benefits are miraculous. If you're only taking one form of magnesium, you're still deficient.
