Hi reader,
You might have heard that meal planning saves you time and money, but did you know that meal planning also helps you stay on track with your clean eating goals?
Here's why:- Don't plan breakfast → pick up a croissant while you're getting a cup of coffee
- Don't plan lunch → say "orange chicken and fried rice" when the office places a big order for take-out
- Don't plan snack → grab a candy bar from the vending machine
- Don't plan dinner → swing through the drive-through on the way home
Now, not all of these things might not happen every time you don't make a meal plan, but the less planning you do, the greater the odds that something like this happens.
Why take that risk when meal planning is so easy? Here are my super simple, 3 steps to making a meal plan:- Look at what you already have at home. Does anything need to get used up before it goes bad? Are there any leftovers that need to get eaten?
- Use the produce + protein + fat formula to take these foods and create a well-balanced meal.
- Write this meal down on a piece of paper.
That's it!! Meal planning is essentially thinking ahead of what you want to eat, writing it down, and then shopping (if necessary) and preparing the meal.
It's not rocket science, but for some people, meal planning may take a few tries before it becomes easier…
And I have you covered!
In just a couple of weeks, I'm hosting my Meal Planning Made Easy Challenge.
For 5 days straight, I'll walk you through the baby steps of meal planning, teach you why meal plans fail (and how to overcome that), and help you find a meal planning method that works for YOU!
And even better news, it's completely free!!
All you have to do is click here to join. I'll send you a reminder the day before the challenge starts and come Monday, August 5th, we'll be off to the races!!
