I was buying bags of store-bought granola every week. My teens were sprinkling it on yogurt. My husband was eating it with milk for breakfast. Then I remembered all the opened bags of nuts and seeds I had in the pantry and freezer. I baked up a pan of my own granola, spooned it into mason jars, and stopped buying it. Now we save money, use what we have already, and eat something homemade instead. And it's so good I got requests for the recipe when I gave out jars of it at Christmas last year. That always feels good. :) Tap the pink button below for the recipe. Best, Sally |
