Before and After: See the Incredible, Life-Size Tree House in These Kids' Playroom When Chris Jones, the co-owner of Adaptiv Design Concepts, got the call to design an interactive playroom for a family in West Palm Beach, Florida, he wanted to get to know the clients and the space first. It was a brand-new home, and the playroom was the first space to come to life. A room with around 16-foot ceilings and several windows was the perfect canvas to create an adventure-themed room for two kids to grow into.    "It was basically a clean slate. The only thing was that I knew that the walls were going to be white and the floor was going to be dark hardwood," Jones says. Then, the rest was open to whatever I wanted to do. The client just wanted a space where the kids could grow up, and the family could hang out."
