Tomorrow is Arbor Day. Saturday is Drug Take Back Day, Louisiana's 210th Anniversary of Statehood, and the end of Administrative Professionals Week. Sunday begins Small Business Week. May is Bike Month, Older Americans Month, and World Trade Month.

National Arbor Day 150th Anniversary: April 29

The 2019 County Business Patterns program counted 8,366 forestry and logging establishments, with 51,928 paid employees and $2.6B in annual payroll.

National Bike Month: May

In 2019, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated that 805,722 workers in the U.S. bicycled to work, down from about 865,000 in 2012, and up from 665,000 in 2007.
