STATS FOR STORIES (SFS)

Yesterday was World Population Day (check our Pop Clock for today's estimate). Wednesday is France's Bastille Day. Sunday is National Ice Cream Day. It's Summer 2021 and the 2021 Hurricane Season.

 

World Pop

World Population Day: July 11

The U.S. Census Bureau's International Data Base (IDB) web tool estimated that the world population reached 7.5 billion on June 13, 2018 and will reach 8 billion in 2025.

Bastille Day: July 14

The Census Bureau's International Data Base estimates the July 1, 2021, population of France at 68.1M (106.3 people per sq. km) and the U.S. at 332.5M (36.3).

National Ice Cream Day: July 18

The 2018 County Business Patterns program reports that the ice cream and frozen dessert manufacturing industry had 433 establishments and 21,464 paid employees.
