Tuesday November 3 is National Election Day. Sunday is National STEM Day. November is National Aviation History Month, National Family Caregivers Month and more.

 

Election

National Election Day (Presidential): November 3

For the 2016 Presidential Election, the Current Population Survey (CPS), Voting and Registration supplement found 70.3% of voting-age citizens (population 224,059,000) were registered and 61.4% voted.

STEM

National STEM Day: November 8

The 2019 American Community Survey estimates the total population age 25+ with a Bachelor's degree or higher at 75M: 26M are in science and engineering (35.4%).

National Aviation History Month: November

The 2019 M3 Survey reported the value of shipments of U.S. total defense aircraft and parts at $55.6B and nondefense aircraft and parts at $135.6B.

National Family Caregivers Month: November

The 2019 American Community Survey counted 488,187 childcare workers, 761,338 personal care aides and 65,992 personal care and service workers.
