During such difficult times, the food blogger community around the world has wondered what we can do to help people in need.

I am happy to announce that I have joined forces with a group of 31 wonderful and very talented food bloggers to put together an eCookbook to raise money in favour of the many people who have been left unemployed after COVID-19.

100% of the proceeds from the sales of this eBook will be donated to The Global FoodBanking Network, an organization that supports local food banks providing hunger relief during this terrible crisis.

The eBook contains 66 recipes divided into 6 categories: Condiments and Sauces; Breakfast; Appetizers, Salads, and Side Dishes; Soups; Main Courses; and Desserts.

All the recipes are designed to help you use up what you already have in your kitchen and inspire you to make meals that you can store in your freezer to eat later.

The eBook is NOW available on Amazon for purchase. Please, help us make a difference!

Facebook Update

Great News! Manu's Menu now also has a Facebook Group!

This group does NOT substitute our Facebook Page, it simply gives us an EXTRA way to stay in touch and communicate. With Facebook introducing more restrictive rules on what shows up in your feed, joining the group will ensure better interactions with me and other fans and that you keep seeing our content.

It is a place for all fans of Manu's Menu to discuss the blog and Italian cooking in general!

You are welcome to post suggestions for future posts, cooking tips, questions... anything, as long as it relates to our recipes or Italian cuisine (not just our site!).

Have you made one of our recipes and you'd like to share a photo of it? Our Facebook Group is the right place!

Featured Posts

This week's featured posts are all about burgers and sliders!
I am sharing the recipe for my Alpine Sliders, made with Italian style beef patties, home-made brioche buns, Italian speck, Fontina cheese and a mushroom sauce. All flavours that take you to the Alps bite after bite.  To serve them, I whipped up some mini potato roesti to honour the Swiss side of the mountains.
I am also sharing the recipe for Salmon Sliders with Aioli. These are among my favourite burgers! I love the salmon patties and I think aioli is the perfect match for them!
The third featured post is the recipe for my Asian Chicken Sliders with Sriracha Mayo. I love Thai and Vietnamese cuisines and these sliders are inspired by them. The chicken patties are packed with flavour: lemongrass, fresh coriander, and spring onions give them a refreshing taste and the Sriracha Mayo adds a nice kick!
The fourth featured post is the recipe for Parma Burger, made with Parma Ham (aka Prosciutto) and Parmigiano Reggiano slivers... all ingredients that come from the Italian city of Parma. It is to die for and it is what I make when we have "burger night" at home.

Regional Italian Food - Weekly Spotlight

I always say there is no "Italian cuisine" but many "Italian cuisines", so I thought to add a Regional Italian Food section to this Newsletter. Each week, I will feature a recipe from a different area/region of Italy.

This week's featured recipe comes from Sicily: Cassatelle Trapanesi - warm fried pastries filled with sweet ricotta and chocolate and dusted with icing sugar.

Travel - Weekly Spotlight

As I get many emails from my readers asking me about travel tips, I thought to add a Travel section to this Newsletter. Each week, I will feature one of my travel posts. Feel free to comment or message me if you have any questions.

This week's featured post is one of my guides on Italy: Rome, the eternal city and one of the most beautiful places in the entire world. It is a city I absolutely adore with plenty to see and do and some of the most amazing food ever. Read all about it in my post.

Sneak Peek

Next week, I will share with you my Macadamia Dukkah – a Middle Eastern condiment consisting of a mixture of herbs, nuts, and spices, typically used as a dip with oil and bread.
I am also going to share with you my Friulian Alps, Italy Guide - with lots of tips and ideas on what to see, do, and eat in this beautiful area of the Italian Alps.
