Hello Friends!

Before your 7 Day Keto Diet begins I wanted to give you some tips on sugar free/low carb sweeteners. During your week obviously sugar is off limits except for some fresh berries you’ve seen on your menu for the week. Sugar makes you crave more sugar. Artificial sweeteners also can make you have cravings. Please try to limit if you can’t simply live without artificial sweeteners this week.

If you really want to have success on a sugar free, low carb diet, you’ve got to find a natural sweetener you enjoy using. Some sweeteners are great for coffee, some are wonderful to bake with, sometimes two sweeteners combined can really help offset any aftertaste from using a single one on its own.

I don’t want you to break the bank buying all different kinds of sweeteners and not liking them, so here are my favorite natural sugar free sweeteners that I use regularly in my recipes:

You don't need to buy all of these, just pick one or two. Most of these can be found at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and of course Amazon. You might even have luck looking at Walmart as well.

Remember that whatever sweetener you use, it does effect the recipe and whether you hate or like it, especially desserts.

Always use a little less than you think you need, you can always add more but you can never take any out of a recipe.
