I had the signature Hokkien shacha (similar to satay) noodles when I visited Xiamen several years ago and though the flavours were not as strong as I expected them to be, it was rather unique and the experience lingered. When a new shacha noodle place opened in Wuhan, I figured I'd try it out. Nothing out of the ordinary, though I'd say the seafood wasn't super fresh - but then again you can't expect the same thing that you'd be getting in a coastal city. Craving satisfied, but probably won't be getting it again soon.
