Fantastic Italian cuisine in the heart of Barnsley at this inviting and cosy Italian restaurant with a lovely, large outdoor dining area.

I was kindly invited down to try the new menu at 1momento, an inviting restaurant based in the centre of Barnsley. We experienced a warm & friendly service and atmosphere here, as well as delicious, hearty Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor area, just a shame that when we visited the weather was a bit chilly. . The pizzas and calzone look fantastic here I have to say, but we had our hearts set on pasta!

We enjoyed;

Meatballs Marinara - this was super delicious️
Fried calamari - tasty, and there was lots of it️
Spaghetti Carbonara - a classic done really well, with lots of pancetta too
Ravioli Spinch & Ricotta - this was a cheese lovers heaven, and very filling
Tiramisu - I couldn't not try theirs, and it was creamy and divine

We loved every bit of food here, and as it is only a 20 minute drive away from us, we would love to return again. The waiter was so helpful & friendly. A fab date night! The rest of their menu includes other authentic Italian delights, some great pizzas and much more - visit their website here.
