Article Icon 1Stein Launches Jobs Portal for Fired Feds

Gov. Josh Stein launched a website offering access to state job opportunities for employees who lost their jobs due to federal cuts. It also welcomes applications from residents displaced by Hurricane Helene, service members, their spouses, and veterans.

The process begins here by matching applicants with a state human resources recruiter who will help them apply for a relevant position.

North Carolina joins Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and other states in offering assistance to former federal employees, but faces challenges filling its workforce positions.

Currently, about 20% of the state's roles are unfilled, and more than 1,000 job postings are active.

Article Icon 1Greenville OKs Suit Over Camping World Flag

Greenville's City Council voted 4-2 on Monday to authorize a civil suit against Camping World for a code violation regarding its 3,200-square-foot American flag, which is nearly 15 times bigger than the largest flag allowed on non-residential property. The company's 130-foot flagpole is also double the height allowed by current regulations.

The city originally filed a notice of violation on Oct. 31, 2024, then began fining the company in January.

On March 13, the council voted 4-2 to deny an amendment change that would have kept the flag flying. At that point, the city had fined Camping World $8,900, but only $650 had been paid.

Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis responded to the council's vote Monday on X, posting, "The flag isn't coming down ever."

North Carolina Tesla drivers are among those nationwide feeling the impact of vandalism in response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his involvement with the Trump administration.

An unknown offender in Zebulon shot at the driver-side window of Jese Martinez's Tesla Model S on Sunday, shattering the glass.

A Garner man who withheld his last name out of fear for his safety reported that someone etched the word "NAZI" on his Tesla. Police are looking into how and when the act occurred.

The FBI launched a task force on Monday aimed at cracking down on threats against the electric car brand, with FBI Director Kash Patel calling them acts of "domestic terrorism" and vowing that "those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice."

Final 2 Days: Back a Team of Founders with $350M in Exits Combined

The clock is ticking on this opportunity to join a rocket scientist, an astronaut, and the co-inventor of the personal computer as they pioneer the next evolution in AI.

It's far from the first time this team has successfully grown a business—with $350M in previous exits and 100 patents combined. But this latest innovation could be their most groundbreaking yet, and you have just three days left to invest in New Sapience while they're private.

It's called Synthetic Intelligence, which lets machines learn and reason cognitively, like humans.

While ChatGPT and other Large Language Models just rearrange words and "hallucinate," this is an opportunity to blaze the trail for a machine that truly understands and never makes things up. Bill Gates said that a company that builds a true AI could be "worth 10 Microsofts."

New Sapience's potential market is also huge–anyone with a smartphone and almost every business in every industry.

They're changing the share price soon. However, you can still invest at the $4 share price if you get in before the deadline.

Lock in the $4 share price while you still can!
