It's time for monthly favorites!

Here is everything we used and loved over the last few months…

Food

Built Bars - Over the last couple of years, I have tried A LOT of different protein bars. I wanted to have something easy to throw into my purse for long days at the hospital or traveling, and I fell in love with Built Bars. You get a big punch of protein without a crazy amount of calories, fat, or sugar. The regular bars are good (salted caramel is my favorite), but I REALLY love the puffs! My favorite flavors are Cookie Dough Chunk Puff and Brownie Batter Puff.

Home

Charging Station for Multiple Devices - All of our kids have school-issued tablets, and at the beginning of the year, there were cords and tablets all over the kitchen. My husband found this charging station, and it keeps everything tidy and in one place, tucked away under the counter. So much better!

Full Body Massage Mat - My mom gifted this to me for Christmas, and it is so wonderful! The mat is heated, and it has a massaging pillow perfect for your neck, but it also detaches, so you can use it anywhere on your back, legs, etc. It's so relaxing! With Valentine's Day coming up, it would make a great gift!

Clothes for Me

Athleta Rainier Tights - These fleece-lined leggings were one of my Christmas gifts, and I LOVE them. They fit wonderfully, are not too warm, but have a nice brushed interior. Most surprisingly, they appear to repel dog hair, which is astounding. It sticks to all of my other leggings, but I never have any on these!

Vigoss Jagger Jeans - These have been my favorite jeans since last year, and I adore this particular bootcut version. They are soft but structured and fit perfectly.

ORORO Heated Full-Zip Fleece - Another Christmas gift (cozy and warm was a good theme this year!) that I am LOVING. This fleece comes with a battery pack and heated zones and is SO cozy. Cold and drizzly spring and fall dek hockey and baseball games just got an upgrade ;-)

Books and TV

I've been reading a lot over the last few months, and we've caught a few really good series, too! Here are some favorites:

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek - I loved this story and the history behind it. It started a little slow for me, but it picked up quickly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Happy Place - This was my second Emily Henry book, and I loved it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reminders of Him - I liked this one, but it didn't totally captivate me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Before We Were Yours - Easily one of the top 5 books I've read in the last two years. Phenomenal story and just completely absorbed me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shows we've watched and really liked:

  • Who Is Erin Carter? (Netflix)
  • Fool Me Once (Netflix)
  • Poker Face (Peacock)
  • Blue Lights (BritBox)
  • No Offence (BritBox)

Kids

Adidas Cushioned Quarter Socks - I first shared these back in September after I had gotten Joseph new socks. He loved them and said they were the most comfortable socks he'd ever had. He recently needed a replenishment, which means these lasted nearly 6 months, and he has worn them for EVERYTHING, which includes baseball season, dek hockey season, we're halfway through basketball season, and going to school every day. I am THRILLED with how they've worn; definitely recommend them!

Laser Tag Set - This was Dominic's big Christmas gift; he had gone to a birthday party in November where they played laser tag, and he LOVED it. He was so surprised and thrilled on Christmas morning. My husband researched tons of these, and this set seemed like the best quality, and it is pretty intuitive to use; Isabelle was able to set stuff up on her own after a couple of times.

Dearfoams KidsSlippers - Isabelle got a pair of these for Christmas, and she has LIVED in them; she loves them.

Kids' Fleece Robe - The boys each got one of these for Christmas since they didn't have robes, and they are SO soft and cozy!

What have been your favorites this month? Please share!
