USDA Extends Deadline to Oct. 12 for Input on Prevented Planting Crop Insurance Coverage

The USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA) is looking at possible changes to prevented planting crop insurance coverage and it wants to hear what producers think and have to say about it. Topics include the Harvest Price Option, the "1 in 4" Rule, and contract price. RMA has now extended the deadline for public comment to Thursday, Oct. 12.
