| 1l / 1¾ pt water 1 navel orange 1 lemon 1 thumb-sized piece ginger, peeled (if not organic) & finely sliced 10 fennel seeds (optional) maple syrup, to sweeten (optional) | | step 01 Place all of the ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Then turn off the heat and leave to steep, still covered, for 1 hour.
step 02 Strain out the pieces and reheat before serving. Sweeten with a little maple syrup, if desired. | |
