It can be maddening! Here's what I do to prevent fatayar triangles from opening up when they bake.
~ "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"-Fatayar ~ When I visit Lebanese bakeries and see the perfection of their fatayar triangles, I get a little . . . worked up? Ask my sister Peggy. She has to tell me to breathe, just breathe. The truth is that fatayar taste so so SO good even when they get warped in the baking. But we home bakers can achieve the beauty with a few simple tricks. | |
