I was recently introduced to the world of audiobooks and can't help but mourn all the time I've wasted driving, doing laundry, and cooking dinner in silence over the course of my life. I have "read" more books over the past four weeks than I have in the past 6 months!
Audiobooks are also helping me keep the commitment I made to myself this year to exercise outdoors even when it's cold out (I also purchased this, this and these to help with that!) There have been so many days where I didn't feel like bundling up against the chilly temperatures and wind, but knowing that I get to keep listening to my book get's my butt out the door every single time. I use the Libby app which connects to my local library. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
