Outbreak Investigations & Safety Advisories Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition  The following is an update from FDA of concern to our subscribers. CORE Outbreak Investigation Table The CORE Outbreak Investigation Table is a list of outbreak investigations being managed by FDA's CORE Response Teams. The investigations are in a variety of stages, meaning that some outbreaks have limited information, and others may be near completion. The table will be updated weekly. This week's updates are: The Salmonella Oranienburg outbreak linked to red, yellow, and white onions has closed and the investigation has ended. A new outbreak has been added to the table: Enteroinvasive E. coli (EIEC) O143:H26 in a not yet identified food.
