Job of the week Performance Analyst This is an exciting opportunity where you would play a pivotal role in helping to transform our core services at Companies House. Working on projects and business improvements, you would be responsible for delivering high quality and innovative analysis for digital services and maximising the value of the data. Help to Grow: Digital  Small and medium-sized businesses across the UK can now access free and impartial online support to see how digital technology can boost their business performance. Eligible businesses can also apply for a discount of up to 50% off the purchase of approved software from a range of leading technology suppliers, worth up to £5,000. With many businesses needing to adapt the way they do business during the pandemic, the support the government is offering through Help to Grow: Digital will help them to improve their productivity and take the next step to grow. Visit Help to Grow: Digital today. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has put together a toolkit to promote the scheme. If you have any dealings with smaller businesses as part of your networks or supply chains, please use the assets in the toolkit to encourage them to sign up. Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates The Prime Minister announced earlier this month that plan B restrictions are to be lifted in England. The government is no longer requiring people to work from home if they can. Employers should start speaking to their staff about arrangements for returning to workplaces, whilst continuing to follow the working safely guidance. From today, face coverings will no longer be required by law in any setting. Public health guidance still recommends that individuals wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where they may come into contact with people they do not normally meet. Also from today, venues and events will no longer be required by law to use the NHS COVID Pass. However, the Pass will remain available on the NHS app as some venues may still voluntarily choose to require proof of COVID-19 status as a condition of entry to reduce risk for attendees and staff.
