Visit our MVR website for more relevant guidance and information. | | The Saturnus EV 40, 45 & 50 Scissor Lift (manufactured 2014-2018) has been placed on the latest public product safety database recommending that it should not be used. The product does not comply with the Supply of Machinery Regulations 2008. The manufacturer has identified a potential weakness in a weld on the scissor lifts and has provided a kit which should be fitted to the scissor lift. While awaiting the fitting of the kit a 4.5 tonnes lift catastrophically failed with a load of 2.5t. End users should stop using the scissor lift immediately until the manufacturer's kit has been fitted. Find out more on page 3 of PSD Product Safety Report 51 (PDF). | | | |
