Update on available vocational test slots To support the government's plan to tackle the current shortage of vocational drivers we are giving you an up-to-date picture of driving ability test (3b) availability in your area. This week there are: 235 appointments in the Midlands 473 appointments in North of England 723 appointments in Scotland 850 appointments in London and South 52 appointments in Wales You can use the trainer booker service to book these vocational appointments, which can be used for HGV, bus and coach tests. We currently have 21,896 vocational 3b tests booked. There were 112 unsold vocational 3b test appointments last week. We all have a crucial role to play in helping to tackle the current worldwide HGV driver shortages.  The booking service is constantly changing, so all the figures above might have changed by the time you read this email.
