Updates to Iran (Human Rights) and Venezuela regimes

View in browser Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation Updates to Iran (Human Rights) and Venezuela regimes 4 entries have been removed from the Iran (human rights) financial sanctions regime. 48 entries have been amended and remain subject to an asset freeze. On 28 January 2022 the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office updated the UK Sanctions List on GOV.UK. This list provides details of those designated under regulations made under the Sanctions Act. The following entries have been removed from the consolidated list and are no longer subject to an asset freeze: Ahmad Zargar (Group ID: 11803) Hassan Haddad (Group ID: 11792) Mohammad Hejazi (Group ID: 12182) Seyyed Hasan Firuzabadi (Group ID: 12179) Further, 20 amendments have been made to entries under the Venezuela financial sanctions regime. The notice can be found here. OFSI's consolidated list of asset freeze targets has been updated to reflect these changes.
