EHTB Advisory Panel Meeting February 8

Minnesota Environmental Health Tracking and Biomonitoring Advisory Panel meeting to be held February 8 The Environmental Health Tracking and Biomonitoring programs at the Minnesota Department of Health convene the Environmental Health Tracking and Biomonitoring Advisory Panel of public health and environmental experts three times per year. These experts provide recommendations on our priorities and activities. All panel meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for:    February 8, 2022 1:00-3:30 p.m. Online via TEAMS   This meeting will focus on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Minnesota and the potential for future MDH PFAS biomonitoring efforts. It will include a period of public comment for anyone who would like to provide input on the questions discussed.    If you plan to attend, please RSVP to lynn.treadwell@state.mn.us. You will be sent the meeting login information in a separate email.     About our programs MN Tracking brings environmental public health data together, enabling communities, policymakers and public health professionals to explore relationships between environmental exposures and health effects. MN Biomonitoring measures levels of chemicals in Minnesotans and whether exposures differ between groups and over time. This information is used to promote public health actions to reduce chemical exposures.
