Hi reader!
It's well documented that I much prefer Christmas' ham to Thanksgiving's turkey (although Ben smokes an absolutely MEAN turkey!) To be honest, it's the side dishes on the Thanksgiving dinner table that do it for me.
I'm already dreaming of the decadent, dreamy dishes that will flank my obligatory (but still delicious, Ben, if you're reading! 🤣) slice of turkey so today I'm sharing my Top 3 favorite Thanksgiving side dish recipes.
Of course, the more the merrier, but if I HAD To pick which recipes to recommend, these three make the cut!
What are you most looking forward to devouring this Thanksgiving?
#1 Garlic Mushroom Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole |
A craveable Green Bean Casserole? Yes, it does exist!! Honestly my mouth waters when I think about how delicious this simple yet stunning side dish recipe is. Best of all? It's no canned soup required.
Gluten Free Stuffing |
Although it was a new recipe for 2021, I already know Gluten Free Stuffing will be on our holiday dinner table every year moving forward. It is SO savory and flavorful, and proves stuffing - gluten free or not - doesn't have to be soggy or spongy.
Party Potatoes Deluxe |
Sometimes called "Funeral Potatoes" or Cheesy Potatoes, this dish wins Thanksgiving. It just does. Luscious, creamy, cheesy potatoes topped with a buttery crunchy topping. It does. not. get. better!
More Thanksgiving Side Dish Staples:
- Wild Rice Stuffing
- Homemade Cream of Chicken and Cream of Mushroom Soups
- Fruit and Marshmallow Holiday Salad
- Shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad
Happy eating!
